Holiday Homework


Q1. “ Et tu , Brute! Then fall, Caesar. “
These were the last words uttered by Julius Caesar. He died of a broken heart and when he saw his intimate friend Brutus among the conspirators and was the last among them to stab him. Taking ideas from this scene write a paragraph on the topic : “ A friend in need is a friend in deed” in about 80-100 words.
Q2. Write a letter to the editor sharing your concern about the harmful effects of smoking and give reasons why people particularly women should desist from this evil habit.
Q3. During the winter break you were dazed to see the amazing packages provided by travel agencies. The whole idea of holidaying has changed due to these packages. You decide to write an article for your school magazine on “ Travel and Leisure” You are Amit/Amita.
Q4. “You are old and outdated” , said a 16 year old son to his father…….
Complete the story in about 150-200 words
